Sean O'Toole

Sean joined Scout in 2022, and as Scout’s General Counsel has helped to expand and mature its legal and contracting function into a team of sophisticated attorneys and legal professionals. Sean and his team provide the company with expert legal strategy, contracting, and regulatory advice to optimize contracting timelines and mitigate risk. He brings extensive experience in life sciences legal and contractual matters, including drafting and negotiating a wide variety of transactional documents and advising teams within global pharmaceutical R&D environments about the requirements of applicable laws and regulations. Before joining Scout, Sean supported multinational pharmaceutical companies as outside counsel through Axiom and held an internal legal/contracts role at PRA Health Sciences.
