Ensure necessary documentation is provided to a patient to travel during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A study patient lived in a particularly hard-hit in an area of Spain in lockdown during to COVID-19. To ensure this patient could safely reach their site visit on time, Scout worked with the Sponsor, patient and site to obtain and complete all appropriate documentation to attest to the essential nature of the visit. The following procedures were implemented:

• Processed customized English and translated patient-facing and site-facing documents 
• Prioritized appropriate training of site staff
• Utilization of trusted travel partners in each region
• Worked closely with sponsor and site for any needed cost approvals
